OnePlus 5,the company's most expensive smartphone

With just a few days to go for the launch of OnePlus 5 (June 20), one of the most-anticipated phones of the year, the rumour mill has been abuzz with details about the phone. (The India unveiling event is scheduled for June 22.)

Though the company has confirmed that the smartphone will sport a dual-camera setup and run on powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, not much else is known about the phone.

However if the latest rumours are to be believed, the new smartphone will be priced much higher compared to the company's OnePlus 3T that comes with a Rs 29,999 price tag.

According to website True tech, the 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage version of the OnePlus 5 will retail for Rs. 32,999, while the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage will cost you Rs. 37,999.

It's not just the price that has been creating waves, a sneak peek of the phone's design via a tweet shared by co-founder and CEO Pete Lau has left users wondering whether the phone will look exactly like the iPhone 7 Plus.

However since no other pictures of the phone have been revealed, we'll have to wait and see whether it will resemble the Apple device or have an infinity display like Samsung's latest offering Galaxy S8.
